Programs

We offer real help and practical support to women and men. We offer programs for pregnant and parenting individuals, couples, relationship education, pregnancy loss, post abortion trauma, fertility education and fatherhood. We are much more than about pregnancy and parenting. That’s why we say – Heartbeats…it’s a great place to be!

Our Centerpiece is the Bridges/Earn While You Learn Program

Bridges Earn While You Learn is an incentive based program. Moms and dads learn important information about pregnancy and parenting. Work one on one with a client consultant who builds a lesson plan that is unique to you. Earn Bridges points by watching videos, doing worksheets and homework, setting and achieving goals. You can also earn points with doctor appointments, signing up for WIC, getting a job, attending church and much more. The Bridges points are used to purchase items in our Boutique. On average, 12,860 Bridges points are awarded each month!

Other Services Offered to our Clients:

We have added two new Curriculums to our Bridges Program:

"Positive Partnership" for men and women. The curriculum covers healthy boundaries, cohabitation, marriage and single parenting.

"Adoption" This curriculum allows us to walk alongside a mom on her journey through adoption.

Hondros College of Nursing presented a class on SIDS Awareness for our clients and consultants. If you are interested in presenting a class for our clients, please contact Rebecca at 740.349.7558 ext. 211

Licking Memorial Hospital’s Tobacco Cessation Program is now offering consultation appointments at Heartbeats on Wednesdays. Clients will receive Bridges points for attending. Upon successful completion of each counseling session and CO test, LMH will provide a $10 gift card.

East Side Grace Brethren church held their annual baby shower for Heartbeats. Not only do they collect items for our boutique, they are able to educate parishioners on the services that we offer. They would love to help other churches that are interested in hosting a baby shower. Call Heartbeats for more information.
